Wi-Fi cameras are cheap and quick to install, but they usually carry monthly cloud fees, lower resolution, and they drop under load. PoE (wired) cameras record to a local NVR with no subscription, deliver higher resolution, and are far more reliable.
For four or more cameras, PoE pays for itself fast and will not leave gaps in your footage. You own your recordings and view them remotely.
